diary: Weekend Plans
Eric and I are heading to Tennessee this weekend to visit with my family and go to a UT football game. I’m super excited and already have plans to steal my brother’s camera in order to take pictures! (thanks in advance Nathan!)
With all the erratic weather happening across the country, I hope everyone finds something fun (and warm) to do. Have a great weekend!

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cake →
oh my goodness….breathe, breathe, BREATHE.
my heart is pitter-pattering all over itself over this idea.
If you’re new to the blog, you may not be fully aware that I am OBSESSED with chocolate chip cookies (to be specific, my love of cookie dough).
I may or may not have just said a prayer thanking God for this woman…..
Do you think I could make this for the...

The Great Switch-A-Roo: the act of applying/shedding/re-applying fall/winter garb (includes coat, scarf and/or gloves) as you commute to work. Typically caused by dramatic temperature changes as one exits apartment, enters subway, exits subway, walks to work, arrives at work. Tourists conduct random stops to execute; new yorkers do it while walking (extra points if you maintain your pace).

nyc dining: lupa
You like Italian food? Great. Then you’ll L-O-V-E Lupa.
Lupa, owned by the famous Mario Batali, is one of Greenwich Village’s hidden gems. The food is delicious, the menu is edited (but provides a great selection), there are TONS of daily dishes, and it won’t break your wallet. This restaurant is rapidly becoming one of my favorite places to eat in NYC as a...

I’m so very excited that my #2 item on my Fall Hot List is actually the FIRST item to get crossed off. This weekend, myself + Eric + many other friends will be stepping into some of our finest pieces of clothing to attend October Ball. You’ll have to read my recap post for details of the actual event, but I can’t help but share some of my thoughts for what I’m going to...

I think it’s time I get back into the groove of my weekly posts. By far, my inspiration posts are my all-time favorite….I love nothing more than pretty pictures that make me want a big house, nice clothes, or an unlimited entertaining/traveling budget. SO! I won’t continue to wax poetic about my crazy life….how ‘bout we just skip to the amazing pictures?
Yes?

diary: busy and tired.
so sorry I’ve been a little MIA the past week (maybe two weeks…ha). No excuses except that I’m tired. and busy. and tired.
It’s been a longgggg two weeks.
In a nut shell, the following has happened over the past two weeks: 1) one grandfather had quintuple by-pass heart surgery, 2) one grandfather had surgery for a broken leg, 3) went on a trip to New Orleans for my...

I’m finally starting to understand the average new yorker’s “love” for winter…..now that I know what winter means, I’m not so sure I want it!
